Windmill Hill Reserve is nestled between Rocky and Oxley Beaches. It was the site of a corn and wheat grinding mill. The mill had canvas sails which drove stone grinding wheels. It’s a pretty park but the views are blocked by trees.
Windmill Hill artwork
The artwork is called Folly and refers to a windmill that once existed on the site. The sculpture is a reference to the wooden shafts and stone wheels.
